Summer Camp: Junior Staff Program
In 2005, Mountain Meadow began a Junior Staff Program for 17 year-olds who have completed the SIT Program. Junior Staff participate in staff orientation, work alongside the 18 and over staff, and take part in their own leadership training. In addition to leading traditional camp activities, Mountain Meadow's staff help campers understand and deal with important social issues that affect their lives.
Mountain Meadow accepts 6-9 Junior Staff each year. All Junior Staff serve as volunteers, but are awarded a stipend for their time.
