Youth Talk Program

Youth Talk is Mountain Meadow's year-round program just for children and teens from LGBTQ families! We get together once a month for games, discussions and other activities that address the issues on our minds. Youth Talk is tons of fun. It really helps to be around other youth who understand our families.

Attend films during the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, participate in Pride Events, write letters to President Bush regarding the proposed Federal Marriage Amendment, march in Philadelphia's Pride Parade, attend events related to diversity, create art projects such as family trees, and we always finish off the year with a sleepover party.

Beginning in October of 2006, Mountain Meadow's year-round Youth Talk program will be expanding to include three age groups: 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16. We are looking forward to having eight-year-olds join us for the first time.

Youth Talk is organized in partnership with Philadelphia Family Pride.
